Yogyakarta: Day 1

End of last month, my family had a quick gateway from our busy life. Husband (aka SAAK) and I decided to go to Yogyakarta, Indonesia (since that's the only cheap ticket :) ). We had make this booking on December 2012.

So lots of preparations had been done to bring my SAAK and my daughter out of Malaysia for the very first time.

All our bookings: flight, hotel and driver was done online. Thank to ALLAH for this technologies, it made our life much easier.

We depart on  27th February 2013, 12 pm Malaysia time. We arrived Yogyakarta at 2.00 pm local time. Yogyakarta is early 1 hour from Malaysia. Due to airport congested for passport checking and customs, we are stuck for nearly an hour there with hot atmosphere! At that point, I was so relieve that our Low Cost Carrier Terminal (LCCT) is consider advanced compare to Yogyakarta's International Airport.

At LCCT

SAAK: He was so excited. This is his first time abroad.
Just 4 of us: SAAK (the one who took this pic), mother in law, me in sQ.

Our lunch for today.

Still waiting.

Finally after an hour!

Waiting for our Supir (driver) to take our vehicle.

This is our ride for the next 3 days.
I book this supir via JogjakartaDriver

Brand new Toyota Avanza. Millage: just about 1000 km only!

What a bicycle!

Finally, reached our hotel, Mawar Asri Hotel. We are very satisfied with this hotel even if it's only a 2 star hotel.

A very nice lobby area.

Grumpy sQ.

After shower, pray and had late lunch, we decided to tour the city by trishaw. SAAK manage to find 2 trishaw with sQ.

sQ's 2nd experienced after riding at Melaka.

Infront is SAAK and MIL.

1st stop: Batik Rumah

So many batik to choose from.

My MIL with her full hands.

2nd stop: Batik Painting

I'm not a fan of painting. So no money was spend here.

The village areas was lend by their Prince to help the poor.

Other than trishaw, tourist can also ride on kereta kuda (horse drawn vehicle)

3rd stop: Shop selling bags or sweater from batik.

SAAK trying out local's hat.

Final stop: Malioboro's Street. A must go place at Yogyakarta.
Street performance, band placing local's hits songs.

End of Malioboro's street.

Street performance: Statue (just like London street)

All kinds of ghost.

A lower half body figure.

That's the end of Day 1. sQ had already fall asleep on trishaw. So SAAK decided to call it a day.

Loacker

I love eating this wafer at office, during my tension time dealing with students attitude. Just recently, I take it back home and share this wafer with my daughter. As expected, she loves it too. My daughter is not a wafer lover. But I know she would love the chocolate flavor.
Last Monday, I brought back Napolitaner flavor. This wafer is filled with hazelnut cream. Unfortunately, my daughter doesn't like this flavor. She request Cremkakao. But the store is out of stock. So my dear, please be patient. Mama will buy it for you once it is restock.

Here's what Wikipedia has to say about Loacker:

Loacker is an Italian company based in South Tyrol, producing wafers, chocolate and derivative products. It was founded in 1926 as a family company by Alfons Loacker.

Loacker has production facilities in Bolzano, Ritten and Heinfels (Austria). It is known for its confections, particularly for its Quadratini, thin cubes composed of wafers layered with sheets of creme. Its products are sold across the globe.

It also distributes Twinings brand's products in Italy.

Hello Kitty's Fact

Womb Mouth aka Batu Meriyan

Most women will be facing this kind of problem especially after giving birth.

I myself facing this problem. Last Tuesday, minta kawan parents untuk urutkan dan perbetulkan apa yang perlu. As expected my rahim is out of position. Last time I urut, dikatakan rahim jatuh ke sebelah kiri. This time jatuh ke sebelah kanan.

After numerous research, I nak share ngan you all what is going on in our tummy.

Anterversion (Figure 141.b).

(Refer vaginal pessary). Now I know why my gyne says pintu rahim terbalik.

Terus I pun jumpa apa yang orang barat buat. Kaedah yang sama dipraktikkan. So sama-samalah kita cuba kaedah ini setiap bangun tidur pagi-pagi.
