BBQ at Home

Last weekend, kami sekeluarga berBBQ di rumah jer. Malas nak pergi mana-mana sebab musim hujan. Terasa nak makan panggang so kat rumah pun cukup la. Bab-bab perapan ni, I serah tugas tersebut kepada Mr Hubby. Almaklumlah dia lagi pakar bab tu. 

Kalau perasan, tempat bakar tu instant bbq set. Dah siap arang dalam bekas tu. Kat cover depan tertera easy light, tapi takde la easy sangat. Sejam juga la nak nyalakan arang tu. (Atas tu contoh instant grill ye..)

Ni la hasil grill kami. Ayam, daging, dan kentang bersama dengan garden salad. Bon appetit!

Potato Wedges

Assalamualaikum frenz.. 

Semalam selepas balik dari office tak berpeluang tuk membeli or cari anything to eat for dinner sebab hujan lebat. So since ada kentang lagi, serbuk chezzy pun ada lagi so buat sendiri la potato wedges cicah bersama chezzy sos and mayonnaise. 

Just a simple resepi, within half an hour dah boleh makan.

Potato Wedges

Bahan-bahan:
6 biji ubi kentang - potong wedges
1 ¼ cawan tepong serbaguna½ sudu kecil paprika
½ sudu kecil black pepper powder
1/2 cawan air
Garam secukup rasaMinyak masak secukupnya

Cara-cara:
1. Basuh kentang dahulu, potong bentuk wedges (lonjong) then rebus separuh masak.
2. Toskan kentang.
3. Bancuh tepung bersama serbuk paprika, black pepper powder, garam dan air.
4. Make sure bancuhan tidak terlalu pekat atau cair.
5. Gaulkan kentang dengan bancuhan tepung.
6. Goreng sehingga warna keemasan.
7. Boleh dihidang bersama jalapeno sauce dan mayonnaise.

MOVEMBER

Tergelak juga baca salah satu entry dari Blog Serius. It's about man growing mustaches on November. Hmm.. no wonder la Mr. Hubby nak bela misai last week. Dah datang bulan rupanya. Kena la kasi green light nampak gayanya.

Mengikut Mr Wiki, Movember adalah gabungan words dari moustache and November. Sebuah acara tahunan yang dilakukan sepanjang bulan November untuk bela misai to raise awareness of prostate cancer and other male cancer and associated charities.

So jangan ingat wanita sahaja ada bulan untuk menyedarkan breast cancer, man pun ada rupanya.  So sama-samalah kita aware about our health condition.

Durian Crepe

Malaysia telah dilanda demam durian crepe. Sana sini semua bercerita tentang sedapnya durian crepe. Pernah juga aju soalan pada Mr. Hubby, sedap sangat ke sampai semua orang bercerita ni. 

Since, ada officemate yang jiran dia jual durian crepe, so I give it a shot to give this food a try. The food is not bad, just another way to eat durian selain daripada makan bersama dengan pulut.

Tadi saja2 browse cari resepi durian crepe. so why not just share with you alls. Enjoys.

DURIAN CREPE

Bahan2 untuk crepe:

50gm tpg superfine/gandum

1 sdb tpg ubi kayu 

2sdb gula kastor

3 sdb butter di cairkan

1 biji telur

160ml air

40ml susu cair

1/2 sdt esen vanila..

sedikit pewarna.. 

Cara2 :

satukan semua bhn2 td & wisk je sampai sebati.. kemudian tapis adunan td

sendukkan sesenduk tuang dlm kuali leper @ non stik, wat mcm buat ketayap tu ye.. tp jgn terblkkan & guna api slow aje

dah masak biar sejuk..

Bahan filling: 

fresh krim yg pukul soft peak

isi durian 

Cara gulung: 

Ambil sekeping crepe tadi bahagian licin di bwh ye.. letak fc ratakan skit letak isi durian kat tgh n lipat gulung mcm lipat ketayap aka kuih gulung tu.. 

Simpan dlm fridge jap blh la ngap.. enak dimkn ketika sejuk...

PCB UV Board Construction

My project student selalu tanya macam mana nak guna developer and etching printed circuit board (PCB). The things is they all malas nak mencari. Tak tahu la nak marah cam mana lagi. So students out there yang tengah membaca ni, rajin2 juga la buka website yang berilmiah skit untuk upgrade diri kita yang lemah ini.

So, I would like to share cara2 untuk expose, developer and etching.

Today, i decided to make PCB board using UV (Ultra Violet) method for sharing the knowledge on the procedures & process of UV PCB construction. Here are some of pictures with brief explanation.

Step 1: Print a circuit on laminate paper

Step 2: Buy a Kinsten Coated PCB - GS1015 for single layer and the manual instruction inside the product.

Step 3: Attach a circuit together with Kinsten Coated PCB and expose it with light (photoresis) using UV machine around 90 to 120 second.

Step 4 : A picture of PCB after photoresis process. Remove a circuit from PCB and you can use again the same laminate for other PCB.

Step 5 : Quickly bath a circuit with water and developer then shake it until the unwanted layer remove from the PCB.

Figure A : Picture sample of developer. You can used other product you like.

Step 6 : After wash a PCB, bath the PCB with ferrite chloride & hot water then shake the PCB again until the second unwanted layer removed from the PCB.

Figure B : Picture sample of ferrite chloride product. Caution! You are deal with dangerous chemical (developer & ferrite chloride). Wash you hand after using it. Please use a glove if possible and dispose the chemical properly.

Step 7 : Lastly, brush your circuit and see the different. Now, you can cut any PCB size and drill the PCB for soldering purpose. That's all :)

The Billionaire vs Tao Kae Noi

Sambil menjaga sQ yang tengah demam last Saturday, Mr Hubby and I watched this Thailand movie aired on ABO. Kelakar juga cerita ni. This story was about a young boy at age 18 ingin menjadi usahawan muda untuk membayar semula hutang ayahnya pada bank sebanyak 40 million Baht. 

At first, this guy nama Top Ittipat, niaga buah berangan. Banyak juga dugaan dan cabaran yang harus dia tempuh at a very young age. Then he got inspired by eating his girlfriend's seaweed. So dia cadang nak goreng then belajar how to pack in order to maintain kerangguppan seaweed yang lama.

Tetiba one of the scene ada mention nama product seaweed tersebut which is Tao Kae Noi. Tengok semula info then baru perasan this movie was based on true story. Lagi la Mr Hubby and I excited nak tengok this movie sampai habis coz we love eating this snack.

Sizzling Chicken Yee Mee

Last Sunday was my 1st attempt of cooking this menu. Memang masa zaman belajar kat UiTM dulu giler makan sizzling kat Jusco Bukit Raja, Klang. Pantang kalau pergi sini, takde menu lain dah nak makan. The last I visit there, banyak yang dah berubah. Ye lah, more than 5 years since my last step there.

Last week, makan sizzling kat kantin office, but the taste was not as expected. So since my friend ada lebih hot plate, I tekadkan diri ini to cook sizzling for my dear Mr Hubby.

Surfing through the net, I followed the recipe written by Lilydvalley from My Resepi. Never knew it would turn out this good. Mr Hubby sangat excited. "Not bad", katanya. Me, apa lagi.. suka bangat la sebab Mr Hubby puji..hehe. Bermula dari sizzling juga la, perkenalan kami makin rapat. :)

So, mohon share from tuan resepi. Hope you will like it as much as I do.

Bahan-bahan: (2-3 org makan)

2-3 sanggul (gulung) yee mee
5 ulas bawang putih
5 biji cendawan shitake (kering)- rendam sehingga agak lembut dan potong 4
1 keping dada ayam- potong mengikut citarasa
3 biji cili kering- potong 2
2 sudu besar sos tiram
3 sudu besar kicap cair
1 sudu besar kicap pekat
1/2 in halia- hiris nipis
Serbuk lada hitam
garam- secukup rasa
Beberapa titik Minyak bijan
1 sudu besar Tepung jagung- dibancuh dgn sedikit air
sedikit minyak utk menumis

Cara-cara:

1. Tumis bawang putih, cili kering dan halia sehingga naik baunya.
2. Masukkan ayam yg telah potong sehingga agak empuk.
3. Masukkan 2 cawan air.
4. Masukkan pula sos tiram, kicap cair dan kicap pekat. Masukkan pula serbuk lada hitam. Biarkan mendidih.
5. masukkan cendawan - tunggu 2-3 min.
6. Masukkan campuran tepung jagung dan kacau.
7. Titikkan minyak bijan beberapa titik-jgn banyak2...
8. On a hot plate, letakkan yee mee, pecahkan telur.
9. Tabur sayur, biarkan sebentar & hidangkan panas2.

Resistor Color Wheel

Resistor is the most basic component that all electrical engineering student must know. But when I teach semester 3 students, they still don't know what color for resistor value.
To outcome this matter, I forced each and every one to make this Resistor Color Wheel. By this, I do hope they will remember the color coding.

Projek Memikat Suami

I manage to read this book last couples weeks ago. This book was recommended by my colleague Hasnina. Memang dah lama giler tak baca novel. Last book was the Twillight. All 4 books I read. Novel local jarang baca sebab cerita dia kadang2 terlalu perfect watak2 yang ditulis. Tapi why not give it a twist in live. 

For me, it a good story which could give tips to newly weds on how you should take care of your hubby. So I include sekali sinopsis cerita ini. Enjoy!

My love at first sight to this stationary store and frixion pen starts when Mr Hubby bought this erase pen to our daughter. Pen ni senang, kalau salah boleh padam-padam. Why I love this stationary store, sebab almost what i want semua ada kat kedai ni.

For those who subscribe Astro Boxoffice, mesti tahu movie ni kan. Gosh, I'm so into this movie. Maybe sebab heronya yang very cute and he sang all songs in this movie (hehe Mr Hubby: of course you lagi hencem). 

Plot written taken from Wikipedia:

The movie starts with Nikhil Chopra being interviewed by a reporter in New York asking him about his newly directed movie and why he chose a serious subject and he replies saying that he was asked by someone to be true to yourself and this movie shows the biggest truth about him. He then receives a message and rushes outside to catch a cab.

In the cab, he remembers how he met Lalitha at the London airport in 2005. She misses her connecting flight to New York and bumps into Nikhil while collecting her luggage. They instantly strike a cord and decide to explore London as both of them do not want to head away to their homes but enjoy their first day of freedom. During the day, they roam around in London, explore tourist locales, get drenched in rain and discuss personal ambitions. As the day ends, Nikhil and Lalitha become close but Lalitha declares that she cannot have a long distance relationship with him. While parting ways, Nikhil buys a ticket for himself and tells Lalitha that he will come to New York in 6 months to meet her. She says that they should not write to each other and he agrees to meet her in New York airport.

After 2 years, Nikhil rushes to Paris when he finds out that Lalitha has come there for an exchange program. It is revealed that Nikhil could never make it to New York as he had promised to Lalitha. Lalitha is at first angry with Nikhil for ditching her, however soon she makes peace with the fact and they set out roaming the streets of Paris. They still feel the same attraction for each other and end up spending the night together in Nikhil's hotel. Nikhil admits that he is in love with Lalitha. They start out to watch the film he has made for his course but Lalitha is unable to control her emotions on seeing it.

It is revealed that Lalitha had actually taken a trip to London when she also realized that she was in love with Nikhil. However, she finds him in bed with her film actress which completely breaks her heart. She resolved to get even with Nikhil if given a chance. Realizing that Nikhil is in love with her, she breaks his heart too and leaves for New York.

The film moves forward to present day when Nikhil lands outside Lalitha's house. They go together for a cab ride in New York City. Lalitha tells him that she is getting married and relocating to Mumbai. Nikhil tried his best to win Lalitha' heart. Lalitha also apologized for breaking his heart. They again spend the night together on the streets.

However, as morning dawns in, Lalitha starts rushing for her wedding which leaves Nikhil heartbroken again as he had thought he had won back Lalitha's love. He takes out his angst at her explaining to her, how she had been all wrong in this relationship. Lalitha leaves for her house. Nikhil rushes first to her church where Lalitha was getting married and then to her house only to find out that Lalitha had called off her marriage.

They again meet outside her house and decide to spend the rest of their lives together.

Menarikkan! For those who like this movie I'm sure you'll enjoy repeating it. Hmm this remind me of 3 Idiots played by Amir Khan.

Earth without Art

Simpul/Tarik Mengkarung

Last night, kali kedua tahun ni kena cramp leg atau Bahasa Malaysia tarik mengkarung atau simpul biawak (mode: baru tahu). Other than this year, the last time kena was 4 years ago during preggy time. Lama tu. Tetiba ia datang berkuncung semula tahun ni. Masa zaman muda2 dulu memang selalu kena sampai dah tahu dah apa yang harus buat tuk hilangkan cramp ni cepat2.

Tapi last night, cramp yang paling lama pernah aku alami. Sebelum ni around 3 minit dah hilang, tapi semalam  almost 1/2 jam juga. Baru nak relief, cramp tu datang balik, seolah-olah otot tu lum habis cramp. Try berjalan pun tak boleh juga. Try to read article bout this. Rata2 tulis normally happen to preggy women and athletics. So, camner? I'm neither of these.

Tips to reduce this pain, minum susu before going to sleep and kalau dah kena tu picit2 itu jari kaki and tolak  tapak kaki ke atas untuk regangkan semula otot.

Air Mata Mama

Semalam buat ke-sekian kalinya, air mata ini mengalir melihat anakku menjaga mamanya yang tidak sihat. Actually seharian semalam kepala ni sakit berdenyut dengan kuatnya. Mungkin sebab temankan student projek membuat final projek di workshop yang panastu.

So lagi 5 minit nak berbuka, ku gagah juga bertahan melayan anakku setting plate nak berbuka. Selepas berbuka memang aku tak dapat tahan lagi dan terus bergegas ke dapur sebab nak muntah. Anakku dengan perlahan urut belakangku dan tenangkan mamanya. Kemudian dia ambil air untuk aku minum. Aku kembali ke living room untuk baring. Aku pesan "mama nak baring kejap. kalau perlu apa2 nanti kejut mama".

Sambil temankan aku disebelah dia main legonya. Ku cuba memuji dia bina menara tinggi dan keretapi tinggi. Dia cakap, "mama tidur la", sambil tepuk2 aku. Memang kesian sangat tengok dia. Gugur lagi airmata ini. Hmm, mana suamiku? Kami tidak tinggal sekali sebab faktor tempat kerja yang berlainan negeri. So, kami ni weekend husband and wife. Maka, fahamlah macam mana situasiku menjaga anak. Kadang2 balik kerja kita penat. Anak ajak main bersama. Sometimes, sampai minta permission dulu ngan anak mama nak rehat 5 minit. Itu takpelah, lepas rehat and mandi, badan pun sudah cergas semula, boleh la layan anak. Tapi ni tengah sakit.

Alhamdulillah ku bersyukur kepada Allah kerana telah kurniakan anak yang dapat memahami diriku yang serba kelemahan ini. Pernah juga aku dengar beberapa orang bercerita, Allah akan kurniakan anak perempuan apabila ibunya akan menghadapi kesusahan dikemudian hari. Ini semua ketentuanNya. Allah maha mengetahui segala-galanya.

Sekali lagi air mata ini gugur kerana memikirkan permintaan anakku untuk mempunyai adik. Memang ketara sangat keinginannya memiliki adik sendiri. Tak mampu ku menjawap segala pertanyaannya. Diam sahaja yang ku mampu. Alah telah mengatur segala kehidupanku. Ku pasrah dan akan berusaha apa yang termampu.

Jumaat lepas Mr. Hubby request dengan mak mertua nak berbuka makan laksa johor hari ini. MIL pun faham, anaknya memang dah lama tak makan laksa johor, nak pulak memang itu favourite Mr Hubby. 

So pagi sabtu kami gerak ke Tesco Bukit Beruntung (itu jer hyper market yang terdekat). On our way, MIL dapat panggilan dari Alang. Tok Ngah dah meninggal dunia kul 11 pagi. So kami pun patah balik ke rumah n pack apa yang patut in case nak mandi kat kampung nanti. 

Petang selepas menziarah, kami ke pasar pasir penambang untuk membeli ikan, sotong n udang. Ramai juga yang suka dtg beli seafood kat sini sbb banyak sgt pilihan dan fresh. Sudah habis shopping, kami ke Tesco Kuala Selangor then membeli juadah berbuaka puasa di situ sebab tak sempat nak masak laksa. Bazar Ramadhan disitu kecil jer.. so memang takde choice untuk membeli. :(
